FRACSAL WATERBASE® EM
DESCRIPTION

Fracsal Waterbase EM is formulated as three separate products, Fracsal Waterbase EM1, Fracsal Waterbase EM2, and Fracsal Waterbase EM3, each product with a different crosslink time. The Fracsal Waterbase EM series consists of a specially sized, sparingly-soluble borate crosslinking agent suspended in an aqueous solution. Fracsal Waterbase EM series contains a solubilized alkaline salt modifier which is capable of adjusting the rate at which gelation of organic polymer occurs, without substantially altering the final pH or other characteristics of the crosslinked system. Typical usage concentrations for all Fracsal Waterbase EM products is from 1 to 3 gal per 1,000 gal of fracturing fluid with crosslink times ranging from 1 minute to 3.5 minutes depending upon the pH, temperature, and type of polymer-based fracturing fluid system. Fracsal Waterbase EM packaging can be customized to meet specific requirements.
