INHIBISAL ULTRA® SI SYSTEM
DESCRIPTION

Inhibisal Ultra SI additives are anionic, scale inhibitor concentrates formulated with either the ammonium or sodium salt of a hydroxy amino phosphonic acid.  The Inhibisal Ultra SI products (Inhibisal Ultra SI-138,Inhibisal Ultra SI-139, Inhibisal Ultra SI-141) are utilized in the control of calcium carbonate and barium/strontium sulfate scales in produced formation waters, water-based fracturing fluids, or brines utilized as kill fluids at temperatures up to 148.9°C (300°F).  Inhibisal Ultra SI chemicals are typically added to production water at concentrations ranging from 15 to 25 ppm based on continuous surface volume of produced water, or down hole by continuous injection through capillary tubing or annular injection.  When used in a fracturing fluid or as a brine kill fluid additive, the concentration ranges from 0.2 to 0.3 gal/1,000 gal (0.2 to 0.3 L/m3).   Inhibisal Ultra SI packaging can be customized to meet specific requirements.
