DESCRIPTION

Defoam 2 is a liquid, water-miscible defoaming agent specifically designed for use with polymer systems. Defoam 2 is packaged in 5 gal plastic containers.

APPLICATIONS

Defoam 2 eliminates foam and entrapped air in fresh water and brine systems.

ADVANTAGES

Defoam 2 effectively controls foaming in both solids-laden and solids-free fluids without forming precipitates.

• Defoam 2 is easy to mix and requires no special mixing equipment.
• Defoam 2 is economical and very effective in small concentrations.

MIXING INSTRUCTIONS

Normal treatment is 0.025 to 0.05 gal/bbl of Defoam 2 to reduce foam and entrapped air in polymer systems. Add Defoam 2 as necessary to control foaming through a hopper or directly into a pit.
