Fracsal NE System

DESCRIPTION

Fracsal NE additives are non-emulsifiers designed for application in fracturing and acidizing operations.  The Fracsal NE products (Fracsal NE-137, Fracsal NE-158, Fracsal NE-159, Fracsal NE-160) effectively break water blocks, prevent emulsions from forming, and allow water or acid/crude oil emulsions to separate by reducing interfacial tension between brine or acid, and a wide variety of hydrocarbons.  Fracsal NE chemicals are typically added in fracturing operations at concentrations ranging from 1.0 to 2.0 gal/1,000 gal (1.0 to 2.0 L/m3).  When used in acidizing treatments, the concentration ranges from 2.0 to 5.0 gal/1,000 gal (2.0 to 5.0 L/m3).  Specific recommendations will vary based upon the operation to be performed, emulsifying characteristics of the oil encountered in the formation, and the type of treating fluid.  Pilot testing is recommended to determine the optimum concentrations required.  Fracsal NE packaging can be customized to meet specific requirements.
