DESCRIPTION
Fracsal Ultra crosslinking
additive consists of a specifically sized, sparingly-soluble borate
crosslinking agent suspended in a potassium formate base
solution. The low pour point of the winterized Fracsal Ultra makes this product
ideal for use under extreme cold conditions. The standard
concentration for Fracsal
Ultra is 1.2 gal per 1,000 gal of fracturing fluid
with crosslink times ranging from 1.5 to 6.5 minutes depending upon
the pH, temperature, and type of polymer-based fracturing fluid
system. Fracsal Ultra
packaging can be customized to meet specific requirements.
